Psiloritis is the largest mountain on Crete with an altitude of 2456m, it’s peak is and has been a place of worship for centuries. The hike will begin from lakkos of Migerou and heads straight away into a demanding climb compelling us the reach almost 900m altitude in just 5km. Your reward is however in reaching the summit. The view is phenomenal (if one can find a word for it!) You are on top of Crete, looking down at her and all her beauty. After taking all that in, the hike leads you down to a stop in the historic village of Anogia, infamous for its Cretan mountainous lifestyle, home-cooked dishes, freshly made cheeses and hand woven garments.
